Born from Friendship, Inspired by Wine
Each with deep roots in the wine industry, Gianpaolo, Patrick, and Alex have known each other for almost ten years.
A trip to Friuli in 2024 helped the trio realize they share many of the same values and tastes in both wine and life. Countless conversations over great food and wine sparked the idea that would evolve into Equilibrium Imports.
Alex and Patrick grew up around wine in Italy and have owned a successful importing company for over 10 years. Combined with Gianpaolo’s perspective as a renowned sommelier has been shaped by decades of experience at Michelin-starred restaurants in San Francisco, the trio is uniquely positioned to provide expert service and hospitality to their customers and producers.
