about the producer
Failoni farm was founded in the late 1990s by Antonio Failoni, who fell in love with the rolling hills of the Marche region during a trip and decided to settle in Staffolo. It was here, in one of the most renowned villages of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi area, that he began his journey as a winegrower.
Antonio’s passion has since been passed down to his son Rocco, who is now committed to cultivating and winemaking with deep respect for the land and its traditions, continuing the organic approach that Antonio first introduced.

Sergio Elia is an oenotechnician trained in Locorotondo and an enologist who graduated from the Catholic University of Piacenza. He is also the founder of Cantina Elia. In 2009, he completed his first harvest in Tuscany, in Bolgheri, at Guado al Tasso. His work and passion for wine led him to explore and gain experience in different wine regions around the world: from the Barossa Valley to Napa Valley, from Burgundy to the Langhe of Barolo, where he worked for seven years, as well as in Rioja and Georgia. In 2018, he returned to Puglia to establish his own winery, investing in the Valle d’Itria, the land where he was born and raised. Cantina Elia was founded with the aim of enhancing the territory, combining local identity with the most innovative harvesting techniques acquired through years of study and international experience. One of the features that makes the winery unique in the area is its underground barrel cellar and amphora room, where the magic of wine is preserved.

Based in Nizza Monferrato, the Barbera heartland of Italy, Tenuta ENA is a young, family-run estate shaped by an international journey in wine. Founded by Églantine Chauffour and Alberto Bianchi—partners in life and work—the project builds on more than 15 years of hands-on experience across renowned wine regions worldwide before choosing to settle in Piedmont, with a shared vision: to create an estate rooted in place, expressing both their experience and their personalities through wine. The estate spans 3.5 hectares across two areas: 1.2 hectares in Nizza Monferrato and 2.3 hectares in Agliano Terme. Barbera is the core variety, complemented by Nebbiolo and a small parcel of Cortese. All vineyards are farmed by hand, with permanent cover crops, no herbicides, and a strong commitment to sustainable and organic practices—preserving soil balance, biodiversity, and long-term vineyard health. In the cellar, the approach follows the same philosophy: gentle winemaking focused on freshness, purity, balance, and precise expression of terroir—wines that reflect the identity of Monferrato. Tenuta ENA also includes an agriturismo, offering guests a direct experience of the landscape, its rhythm, and the work behind each wine.
